  • Come as you are. We do not have a dress code. You will find people in coats & ties, boots & jeans and sweats & t-shirts.

  • The service is usually about an hour. Plan on a few minutes before or after the service for introductions. Coffee and donuts are available in the lobby for those that like to socialize before the service.

  • In our worship we seek to be a Spirit-filled family praising our God together.  We want to be a joyful congregation lifting our hearts to the Lord.  You can engage to whatever level you desire.  Each Sunday you will experience:

Videos:  We often use videos as a countdown to worship, as a welcome home, as an introduction to the lesson, and as visual aids to worship songs.

Singing:  We generally have a praise team of men and women up front who lead us in singing.  You will note that we often use four-part harmony because that is part of our tradition. Don’t worry about that. If you don’t read music, just sing the melody and smile!  Are you gifted musically? We invite you to come use your gifts.

Prayer:  We are a people of prayer.  We believe that God can do far more than we ask or think and we lift our voices in prayer often.  It is not unusual for us to pray over individuals or special needs as they arise.  We purposefully allow men and women to pray in our services.

Communion:  We take communion each Sunday.  We set aside a special time to remember the sacrifice of Jesus as he gave his body and his blood for us. This is an inclusive event and visitors are invited to join.

Scripture:  You will find that we are a “back to the Bible” group of people. We take the Bible very seriously and seek to follow it in all we do.  You will often hear men and women reading scripture among us.

Preaching: Each week you will hear a presentation from a speaker that is intended to draw us closer to God, inspire us to healthier living and strengthen us for the week to come.  Our lessons tend to be textual (straight from the Bible) or topical (dealing with a current issue with the Bible as the authoritative answer.)

  • We do not "pass the hat" during our service. There is a collection box available for our members to make an offering as a means to honor God with our blessings. We do not expect visitors to give a contribution, but of course if you are led to do so, we will put the money to good use. Offerings can be done in person or on-line.
